Czech volunteers to participate in autumn Clean Up the World campaign

The annual autumn wave of the ‘Clean Up the World’ campaign, organized by the Czech Union for Nature Conservation (ČSOP), is scheduled to take place from September 18 to 20, 2026. More than 12,000 volunteers have already registered across the Czech Republic to participate in 178 planned cleanup events.

The initiative involves a wide range of participants, including 108 schools and 37 other organizations such as companies and municipalities. A significant portion of the activity is concentrated in Prague and the Central Bohemian Region, which accounts for 111 of the registered cleanup actions. In Prague alone, at least 27 separate cleanups are organized.

Local authorities, such as the Prague 10 district, are also supporting environmental efforts by offering tools, waste bags, and gloves to residents who wish to organize local cleanups. The campaign aims to remove litter from forests, parks, and cycling paths to protect the natural environment and local wildlife.
