Czech Women Occupy 10% of WTA Top 100 Rankings

Ten Czech female players now rank among the world’s top 100 on the WTA tour, accounting for exactly 10% of the elite list. The milestone was reached when Darja Vidmanová entered the rankings at No. 92 after reaching the Memphis final, joining compatriots such as Karolina Muchová (No. 6), Linda Nosková (No. 7), Marie Bouzkova (No. 25), Barbora Krejčíková (No. 26), Katerina Siniaková (No. 37), Sara Bejlek (No. 38), Nikola Bartůňková (No. 42), Karolína Plíšková (No. 66) and Tereza Valentová (No. 67). The surge follows a historic all‑Czech women’s Wimbledon final, where Muchová defeated Nosková, underscoring the country’s deep tennis development system and its record of success in the Billie Jean King Cup.
