Czech women's basketball: Ostrava defeats Hradec Králové

In the Chance ŽBL women's basketball league, Basket Ostrava secured a 77:72 victory against Hradec Králové. Despite Hradec Králové leading for much of the match, Ostrava mounted a comeback in the final three minutes, fueled by three-pointers from Lucie Válková and Marina Ewodová. Hradec Králové coach Romana Ptáčková expressed regret over the loss, citing three costly turnovers and poor free-throw shooting in the closing moments.

Following their defeat in Ostrava, Káry Trutnov prepares for a significant upcoming matchup against the EuroLeague regular participant, ZVVZ USK Praha. Assistant coach Vojtěch Čech and player Babeta Loučková emphasized the need for high intensity and courage when facing the powerhouse Prague-based team, viewing the contest as a valuable learning opportunity for the young squad.
