Czech women's volleyball team records back‑to‑back victories in Nations League

The Czech Republic women's volleyball team secured two consecutive wins at the opening stage of the Nations League in Nanking. First, they defeated Belgium without dropping a set, preserving a clean sheet. Two days later, the squad beat Thailand 3‑0, taking the sets 25‑14, 25‑19 and 25‑11. Outside hitter Jannise Athanasopoulos used her height advantage to register 15 blocks, while Monika Brancuská led the scoring with 14 points.

Following the victories, the Czech team will travel to the Philippines for the next round of the league, where they will face title‑defending Italy and other contenders such as the United States, Japan and the Dominican Republic.
