Czechinvest launches POTENCIÁL program for R&D innovation

Czechinvest has opened the application process for the POTENCIÁL program, designed to assist business entities in establishing or expanding capacities for research, development, and innovation activities. The program aims to support the creation or expansion of development centers focused on product or technology research, including necessary software development.

The planned allocation for this call is 2 billion CZK. Eligible projects must be implemented outside of Prague. Grants for eligible expenditures range from 1 million to 50 million CZK, though in regions with concentrated state support or higher unemployment, the amount can reach between 1 million and 100 million CZK.

Registration for applications began on August 13, 2012, and will conclude on October 15, 2012. Full applications will be accepted from September 17, 2012, until November 16, 2012.
