Czechoslovak Group secures 1 billion CZK in bridge vehicle contracts

Czechoslovak Group (CSG) has secured contracts worth over one billion CZK for the supply of specialized bridge vehicles. The orders involve the AM-70 and AM-50 series, which are designed to help military forces cross watercourses, ditches, and other obstacles.

Excalibur Army, a key company within the CSG group, will manufacture the vehicles using Tatra 8x8 chassis. The AM-50 EX meets the MLC 50 classification, while the AM-70 EX meets the MLC 70 classification according to NATO STANAG 2021 standards, allowing for the transport of heavy military equipment. The vehicles can reach speeds of up to 90 km/h.

The AM-70 EX can be operated by a three-person crew and can deploy bridge sections of 13.5 meters. By connecting up to eight sections, the system can create a bridge up to 106 meters long and cross ditches up to six meters deep. The deliveries are destined for five countries across Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
