CzechToll collected 1.71 billion CZK in July tolls
CzechToll reported that toll revenue for July reached nearly 1.71 billion CZK, representing a 2.2% year-on-year increase despite July having one fewer working day than the previous year.
Of the total collected, approximately 1.5 billion CZK (88%) was generated from highways, while roughly 208 million CZK came from first-class roads. The data highlights a distinction in usage: 56% of highway toll revenue is contributed by vehicles with foreign registration, whereas 65% of tolls on first-class roads are paid by domestic carriers.
Since the beginning of the year, CzechToll has collected nearly 11.8 billion CZK for the State Fund for Transport Infrastructure, an increase of 5.2% compared to the same period last year. As of the end of July, 820,000 vehicles with a maximum weight exceeding 3.5 tons were registered in the electronic toll system.
