Czernichów restarts tender for 14 km of lakeside bike paths

The Intermunicipal Association for Ecology in Żywiec has restarted the tender process for the construction of over 14 kilometers of pedestrian and bicycle paths near Lake Żywiec and Lake Międzybrodzkie in the Czernichów municipality.

The new procurement follows a previous failure where the selected contractor did not sign the contract or provide the required performance security, leading to the cancellation of the original proceedings. The project is being divided into three parts, allowing contractors to bid for the entire project or specific segments.

The tender follows a ‘design and build’ model, meaning selected companies will be responsible for both the complete documentation, including obtaining necessary permits, and the subsequent construction work. Bids can be submitted until September 23, 2026.
