Spyker returns with limited C8 Preliator XXV supercar

The Dutch supercar manufacturer Spyker has announced a comeback following its 2021 bankruptcy, unveiling the C8 Preliator XXV Coupé at Monterey Car Week. The brand's revival is led by co-founder Victor Muller with financial backing from Ukrainian crypto entrepreneur Volodymyr Nosov and his W Group fintech ecosystem.

The C8 Preliator XXV is a hand-built hypercar limited to just 25 units. It features an Audi-sourced 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing approximately 800 horsepower and 1,000 Nm of torque. Eschewing modern digital trends, the vehicle utilizes a six-speed manual gearbox and an interior that prioritizes analog instruments and high-quality materials over digital screens.

Maintaining the brand's historical aviation themes, the design includes NACA-style air intakes, jet afterburner-inspired taillights, and an isogrid lattice pattern. Each vehicle requires approximately 2,100 hours of manual labor to construct on a redesigned aluminum spaceframe. Most of the limited production run has already been reserved by collectors.
