Człowiek w Zagrożeniu Media Festival to take place in Łódź

The ‘Człowiek w Zagrożeniu’ (Man in Danger) Media Festival is scheduled to take place in October 2026. The event will feature a stationary component held from October 14 to October 18 at the Museum of Cinematography and the National Center for Film Culture EC1 in Łódź, followed by an online component from October 19 to October 21.

The festival program includes 70 documentary films and reports, over 140 events, and more than 70 guests. It features four award competitions with a total prize value of 75,000 PLN. This year, Maciej Drygas will receive the Special Prize named after Krzysztof Talczewski.

Beyond film, the festival examines how media perceive reality and includes competitions for both video and audio reportage. The event focuses on human dignity, rights, and the various threats and fears individuals face in the modern world.
