Częstochowa prepares 250 million PLN road investment

Częstochowa is preparing to launch a major road investment known as ‘Bugajska-bis’. The project, estimated to cost approximately 250 million PLN, involves constructing a new section of national road DK-46, including viaducts and a bridge.

Acting President Zdzisław Wolski stated that the city has already secured a contractor and the necessary designs. The new route is intended to bypass current traffic congestion near Bugajska Street, reduce transit traffic, and improve access to industrial areas, including Huta Częstochowa. The project is expected to be completed by early spring 2029.
