Częstochowa to develop new municipal waste collection point

Częstochowskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunalne (CzPK) has announced a tender to build a new selective municipal waste collection point (PSZOK) on Korfantego Street in Częstochowa. The project, valued at over 7.1 million PLN, aims to improve environmental protection by increasing waste recovery and recycling rates.

The investment is co-financed by the European Union through the ‘European Funds for Silesia 2021–2027’ program, with 1.7 million PLN in funding. The new facility will include technical infrastructure, equipment, and educational activities to inform residents about proper waste management. This new site will supplement the existing PSZOK located in Sobuczyn, improving accessibility for Częstochowa residents.
