Łęczyca mural and Łubiane sports hall approved in Polish local projects

In Łęczyca, the 2027 citizen‑budget vote counted 352 ballots and selected two projects: a mural honoring WWII participant Józef Andrzej Szczepański (nicknamed “Ziutka”) to be painted on the façade of Primary School No. 3, and an album titled “Dawna Łęczyca. Ludzie, wydarzenia, miejsca”. The budget sets aside 180,000 zł for these initiatives.

In the municipality of Kościerzyna, the new full‑size sports hall in Łubiane has been handed over to the community. Constructed by a consortium led by Zakład Robót Ogólnobudowlanych Stanisław Repiński, the hall cost roughly 16 million zł, with 8 million zł provided by the Government Fund “Polish Deal”. It includes a 44 × 24 m playing surface, seating for 240 spectators, accessible facilities, a 40 kWp photovoltaic system and comprehensive sport‑event equipment.
