Poland renews key urban streets in Łódź and Poznań
In Łódź, Bartoka Street on the Widzew district was reopened after a comprehensive renovation. The work included a new road surface, refurbished sidewalks and pedestrian crossings, installation of better lighting, planting of 40 new trees and the creation of almost 300 additional parking spaces for local residents.
In Poznań, the reconstruction of Wawrzyniaka Street between Bukowska and Jackowskiego streets is underway. The project adds a stone‑paved carriageway, modernized sidewalks, new green strips, upgraded underground utilities, and a bike link to the existing Bukowska route. Additional elements will include new street lighting, a small green square with benches and bike racks, and provisions for parallel vehicle parking.
