Łódź begins second phase of Wigury Street renovation

The second phase of the renovation of Wigury Street in central Łódź has commenced. The project focuses on the section between Sienkiewicza and Kilińskiego streets and aims to modernize urban infrastructure.

Following the initial stage, which involved rebuilding underground networks and establishing a temporary water supply to ensure uninterrupted service for residents, current works include replacing the water supply system and constructing a new road surface. The project also encompasses the modernization of sidewalks and parking spaces, including the construction of a new parking lot at the intersection of Wigury and Kilińskiego streets.

To minimize disruption, traffic is being maintained in one direction toward Kilińskiego Street. This arrangement allows bus line 77 to continue operating according to its regular schedule and ensures residents maintain access to their properties and local services.
