Łódź hosts Light Move Festival and Many Cultures Festival

The city of Łódź is hosting significant cultural events, including the Light Move Festival and the Łódź Many Cultures Festival.

The 15th edition of the Light Move Festival transformed the city center into a stage for light art. The event featured 11 projections, 19 light installations, and 9 music zones, with highlights including installations such as ‘Wiry’ and ‘The Colors Of Time’ on the facade of the Poznański Palace. The festival also included musical performances by artists such as De Mono and Michał Kawecki.

Additionally, the Łódź Many Cultures Festival 2026 is being held as a mobile event spanning from May to November. A major weekend in September will bring together various cultural paths, including ‘Łódź Biographies’, ‘Geographies of Violence and Solidarity’, ‘Deaf Culture’, and ‘Breath’. The program includes performances, exhibitions, and meetings at the Marek Edelman Dialogue Center and other local institutions, focusing on the diverse histories and identities that shaped the city.
