Łódź implements foster care support and community initiatives

In Łódź, residents can access support and information regarding foster parenting through regular meetings held at the intersection of Piotrkowska and Tuwima streets. Every Thursday at 1:00 PM, specialists from supporting organizations meet with citizens to discuss the formal and emotional requirements of caring for children in need of stable homes.

Beyond foster care initiatives, the city is implementing several community projects, including the construction of the MCM 'Widzew' clinic on Nowosolna street and the continuation of a city-funded in vitro program, which has supported the birth of 576 children to date. Additionally, SOS buttons have been installed on city streets to enhance public safety and emergency response.
