Comedian and actor D. L. Hughley recently appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show and at a St. Louis County Library Foundation event to discuss his career and his new memoir, ‘Charlie’s Boy’.

During his appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Hughley shared anecdotes regarding his professional history, including being fired three times by musician Stevie Wonder. In a separate conversation at The Pageant with sportscaster Mike Claiborne, Hughley focused on the personal themes of his memoir. He discussed the influence of his father, who was not his biological father, and the decision to honor the man who raised him.
