D-Link launches DAP-E3620 Wi-Fi 7 access point for SMEs

D-Link has introduced the DAP-E3620, an enterprise-grade Wi-Fi 7 access point designed to provide small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with affordable access to the new wireless standard.

While the device offers speeds of up to 3,600 Mbps—comparable to Wi-Fi 6—the primary benefits of the Wi-Fi 7 upgrade include more efficient spectrum management, lower latency, and improved stability under heavy network loads. This performance consistency is intended to support modern business demands such as cloud storage, virtualization, and AI applications.

Technical specifications include dual-band support (2x2+2x2), a 2.5G PoE LAN port to prevent bottlenecks, and support for MLO, 4096-QAM, and Multi-RU. Security features include WPA3 Enterprise and SSID VLAN mapping. The device can be managed via a standalone WebGUI or through unified management systems like Nuclias Unity (cloud-based) or Nuclias Connect (on-premise).
