D-Marin acquires Porto San Rocco Marina Resort in Italy
D-Marin, an international group specializing in high-end marina management, has announced the acquisition of the Porto San Rocco Marina Resort in Muggia, near Trieste. This strategic move expands the company's presence in the Northern Adriatic and strengthens connections between Italian nautical destinations and neighboring countries.
With this acquisition, D-Marin's Italian portfolio has grown from a single marina in 2023 to nine today, making Italy the group's largest market by number of marinas. Located in the Gulf of Trieste near the borders of Slovenia and Croatia, Porto San Rocco serves as a key hub for maritime routes across the three nations.
The facility offers 546 berths for vessels ranging from 8 to 60 meters in length. Beyond docking infrastructure, the resort includes hotels, restaurants, bars, shops, a swimming pool, a fitness center, wellness facilities, a fuel station, and a conference room. D-Marin CEO Oliver Dörschuck stated that the location is a pivotal point between Italy and the rest of the Adriatic, and the company aims to leverage its management expertise and digital technologies to enhance the site.
