Łódź region sees rising logistics demand and infrastructure updates

The Łódź region is seeing significant economic and infrastructural activity across various sectors. In the logistics market, the region ranks among the top three most active areas in Poland for warehouse space demand, alongside Silesia and Lower Silesia. Data from Panattoni and CBRE indicate a resurgence in the Polish warehouse market, with gross demand reaching 3.51 million square meters in the first half of 2026, a 21 percent increase compared to the same period in 2025.

Public services and infrastructure are also undergoing changes. In the cultural sector, the Teatr Jaracza has joined the ‘Kultura blisko Ciebie’ pilot program, offering 1 PLN tickets to students from the Łódź Voivodeship. Transportation updates include the one-year anniversary of MF Transport taking over the Głowno-Łódź bus route, and significant rail disruptions in the region due to technical failures in PESA Elf 3.0 trains. Additionally, roadwork on the A1 motorway between Kopytkowo and Warlubie is expected to cause traffic delays for approximately six weeks.
