Polish towns host a wave of summer festivals and community celebrations in 2026
A series of local festivals and cultural events are scheduled across Poland during the summer of 2026. Agricultural fairs (dożynki) will take place in Otowice on 22 August, in Radomyśl Wielki on 16 August, and in Głowaczów, featuring traditional music, folk performances and local crafts. Cities such as Gliwice, Łódź and Strzelce Krajeńskie will hold multi‑day cultural festivals, including the Gliwice Culture Festival (7‑9 August) showcasing Silesian, Jewish, Romani and other heritage, and a 740‑year city anniversary celebration in Strzelce Krajeńskie on 30 May with Polish‑German cooperation. Music‑focused events include the BLusowo blues festival in Lusowo (8 August), the Hells Bells rock festival in Szczecin (20‑21 August 2027), and the Łódź Summer Festival (23‑25 July 2027). Sports and entertainment programmes such as the ORLEN Beach Volley Tour in Świnoujście and the Imperial Show water circus in Ostrołęka (11‑12 August) add to the summer agenda. A parallel music‑restoration festival is planned in Switzerland (9th Festival of Restored Music). These events aim to promote regional traditions, support local artists and attract visitors from across the country and abroad.
