Łódź to renovate five tenement houses for 100 apartments

The city of Łódź has announced a major renovation project for five tenement houses located on Abramowskiego and Sienkiewicza streets. The initiative aims to create a total of 100 municipal apartments.

The modernization will include comprehensive structural work, such as repairing roofs and ceilings, replacing windows and doors, and updating internal installations. Buildings will be connected to the municipal heating network. At Abramowskiego 40, the project includes renovating the staircase and transforming the courtyard into a green space with benches and bicycle racks. Notably, 20 apartments will be created at this location, five of which will be adapted for people with disabilities.
