Łódź Voivodeship municipalities coordinate for EU funding

Local government representatives from the Łódź Voivodeship region met in Kutno to discuss the planned Development Strategy for the province. A primary focus of the meeting was the importance of cooperation between neighboring municipalities to prepare joint investment projects.

These collaborative efforts are aimed at securing funds from the European Union’s new financial perspective for the years 2028–2034. Officials from Kutno emphasized that working together on project design can increase the effectiveness of accessing external funding.

In addition to discussions, participants attended workshops organized by the Marshal's Office of the Łódź Voivodeship. These sessions allowed local authorities to practice designing and implementing joint ventures, encouraging a shift from individual municipal planning toward broader regional cooperation.
