D-Von Dudley claims prominent wrestling stars used racial slurs
WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley has claimed that numerous prominent figures in the professional wrestling industry have used racial slurs behind closed doors for decades. Speaking on the ‘D-Von and the Duke’ podcast, Dudley stated that while Hulk Hogan faced significant criticism for his past racist comments, he was not an isolated case.
Dudley asserted that he has personally witnessed many influential wrestlers using the N-word throughout the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. He noted that many individuals used such language frequently because they believed they would never be caught. He added that some of the individuals involved remain prominent figures in the industry today.
The discussion also touched upon recent allegations regarding AEW star MJF and previous accusations Dudley made against commentator Jim Ross, whom he identified as a person he had faced racism from in the past.
