D2 ADA announces 2025-26 Academic Achievement Award recipients

The Division II Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) has announced the recipients of its 2025-26 Academic Achievement Awards. Now in its 19th year, the program recognizes the academic success of student-athletes competing in NCAA Division II championship-sponsored sports.

To qualify for the honor, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, have completed at least two years of college-level work, and have been active members of an intercollegiate team during their last academic year. More than 21,000 student-athletes from 179 institutions were recognized this year.

Among the honorees, Bemidji State University saw 103 student-athletes earn the award, with the largest groups coming from football (18), soccer (16), and baseball (11). Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) recorded 69 selections, led by baseball (15), football (11), and women's soccer (10).
