D4vd’s verified Apple Music profile was compromised over a weekend with the unauthorized upload of a track titled “I Did It”. The fake song’s cover art displayed the Tesla registered to David Anthony Burke, the vehicle in which the dismembered remains of 14‑year‑old Celeste Rivas Hernandez were found. The recording contained lyrics that referenced the victim and appeared to be a confession, prompting rapid circulation on TikTok, X and Reddit before being removed.
Apple Music later confirmed the account had been hacked and the track was taken down. The incident surfaced as prosecutors continued a preliminary hearing in Los Angeles, where Burke faces first‑degree murder, continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14, and unlawful mutilation of human remains charges. He has pleaded not guilty, is being held without bail, and authorities have presented text messages, photographs and other evidence linking him to the crime.
