Da Lat prepares for 2026 Flower Festival with province-wide planting

Authorities in Lam Dong province are preparing for the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival, scheduled to take place from December 19 to 31, 2026. To expand the festival's reach, 54 communes and wards across the province are participating in flower-planting initiatives to create diverse floral spaces.

Unlike previous years, the festival's floral displays will not be confined to the city center. Instead, the floral spaces will extend to residential areas, schools, and workplaces to bring the event closer to visitors. In the central areas of Da Lat, specifically in the Xuan Huong and Lam Vien wards, efforts are underway to clean streets, manage waste, and plant various flowers and greenery, including cherry blossoms.

The festival is expected to feature 11 main programs and 25 supporting activities, including flower exhibitions, vegetable and flower markets, and tea, coffee, and wine streets. The goal is to maintain these floral displays as permanent urban landscapes after the festival concludes to enhance long-term tourism.
