Da Nang: 5-year-old boy killed in collision with truck

A 5-year-old boy died following a collision with a truck in Da Nang, Vietnam. The incident occurred around 9:30 AM on September 5 in the Lien Chieu Ward area.

According to initial reports, the child was operating a homemade three-wheeled electric toy vehicle while traveling with his older sister, who was riding a bicycle ahead of him. As the boy exited a small alley onto Au Co Street, he collided with a truck transporting construction materials. The boy died at the scene.

Local residents noted that the child's parents were at work at the time of the accident. Lien Chieu Ward police are currently working with relevant authorities to examine the scene and investigate the exact cause of the collision.
