Da Nang approves infrastructure projects for electricity and resettlement

The Da Nang People's Committee has approved two major infrastructure projects scheduled for implementation between 2026 and 2029.

A project worth nearly 57 billion VND has been approved to provide electricity to six mountainous communes: Tra Tan, Tra Van, Tra Linh, Tra Tap, Tra Leng, and Dac Pring. The initiative includes constructing over 34 km of power lines, 14 transformer stations, and installing remote-reading electronic meters for approximately 552 households. In the Petapoc area of Dac Pring commune, the plan includes a 20 kW solar power system with integrated storage.

Additionally, the city has approved a resettlement area project in Go Noi commune to support the North-South high-speed railway. With a total investment exceeding 269.6 billion VND, the project covers approximately 211,176 square meters. The funding will come from central and city budgets, as well as other legal sources. The development will include essential technical infrastructure such as roads, drainage, water supply, electricity, and green spaces to ensure stable housing and livelihoods for residents affected by the railway construction.
