Da Nang authorities and partners launch charity program for 1,700 highland children

The “Bright Moon Everywhere - Soldier's Moon” program was launched on September 23 at the Tay Giang Ethnic Boarding School to support over 1,700 children in highland areas. Led by the Da Nang Military Command, the initiative involves a large-scale collaboration between the Da Nang Youth Union, VCCorp, the Social Impact Organization, and the Thien Nhan and Friends Program.

Beyond celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival, the program aims to implement practical local projects and address the needs of children in remote areas. Participants traveled over 125 km through difficult terrain to reach the community. According to Colonel Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Political Commissar of the Da Nang Military Command, the initiative grew from a desire to support children in border regions near Laos after soldiers recognized their hardships and simple wishes.
