Da Nang authorities discover martyr remains and war relics

Authorities in Da Nang have discovered the remains of a martyr along with several historical artifacts in Tra Giap commune. The discovery occurred during an excavation in a hilly area of Village 1 following information provided by a local resident.

While the remains were largely decomposed, leaving 24 teeth, officials recovered several significant items, including a ‘Dũng sĩ diệt Mỹ’ (US-killer hero) badge, a belt, a fountain pen nib, tweezers, and clothing fragments. The Military Command of Da Nang City is currently working to verify the identity of the martyr and the specific military unit involved to complete the necessary documentation.
