Da Nang commercial real estate sees growth amid tourism surge

Da Nang is experiencing significant growth in retail and tourism, creating new opportunities for commercial real estate. In the first nine months of 2026, the city's total retail sales and consumer service revenue reached 235,910 billion VND, a 25% increase compared to the same period last year. The tourism sector served over 17 million visitors, generating 4,028 billion VND in revenue, up 16.5% year-on-year.

Despite this demand, the supply of commercial space remains limited. According to CBRE, the total supply in Da Nang stands at 83,483 square meters, which is less than 10% of the supply in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. Average rental prices have reached 29.8 USD per square meter per month, with an average annual increase of 10% since 2020.

Experts suggest that location is becoming the most critical factor for business success. Ideal locations are those that can connect diverse customer groups, including local residents, tourists, and urban dwellers. In response to this market trend, The Legend Danang, in exclusive partnership with Minh Minh Land, is introducing 19 commercial shop units located near the Dragon Bridge to the market.
