Da Nang Couple Killed by Electrocution While Repairing Roof

On July 30, 2026, a husband and wife were fatally electrocuted while working on a metal‑sheet roof in Tây Hồ commune, Da Nang, Vietnam. The husband, identified as Lê Ngọc Tuấn, was using an electric cord to power a nail‑gun when the current leaked onto the roof, causing him to die instantly. His wife, Ngô Thị Thạnh, returned to the site to help and was likewise shocked, dying at the scene. Both victims left two children, a university student and a child about to start primary school. Local police and the municipal military command secured the area, conducted examinations, and opened an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
