Da Nang domestic tax revenue increases 88% year-on-year
Domestic tax revenue in Da Nang has increased by 88% compared to the same period last year. According to reports from the Da Nang Tax Department, the city's tax authorities have achieved 106.5% of their assigned budget, accounting for 85% of total domestic revenue.
In the first eight months, the department issued 275 decisions for Value Added Tax (VAT) refunds, totaling 1,670 billion VND. Additionally, tax inspections resulted in recommendations for 1,705.2 billion VND in handling, with 272.5 billion VND already collected through arrears, refunds, and fines.
Digital integration has also seen progress, with 95.77% of business households in the city installing and using the eTax Mobile application. The department is also conducting a campaign to clean up tax identification numbers to resolve business bottlenecks.
