Da Nang police arrest Phan Hong Phong for illegal drug use

Da Nang police have officially prosecuted and detained Phan Hong Phong, born in 1998, for the illegal use of narcotics. The arrest warrant and prosecution decision were executed by the Hoa Xuan Ward Police on September 17, 2026, following approval from the People's Procuracy.

The investigation began following a 45-day intensive campaign to combat drug-related crimes. During a roll call conducted on August 18, 2026, Phong tested positive for methamphetamines. He was already under local management as a person recovering from drug addiction.
