On 25 July, the Da Nang City Criminal Police received a tip from Nguyễn Ngọc Hậu, manager of the Điện máy Xanh branch in the Duy Xuyên commune, that the store had been broken into. Investigators found that 19 iPhone 17 Pro Max, valued at about 700 million VND, were missing.

The suspect, Lê Việt Cường (born 1995, resident of Hòa Thọ Đông, Đại Lộc, Da Nang), was identified after more than eight hours of investigation. He had entered the shop via an emergency exit, disabled the camera system with a flame, and removed the phones in a backpack. Police recovered all stolen devices and other evidence, and placed Cường under temporary detention while the case proceeds to prosecution.

The investigation highlighted the professional planning of the burglary, including knowledge of surveillance systems and the use of tools to breach the store. The Da Nang authorities have completed the procedural steps for indictment and continue to examine any related offenses.
