Da Nang restarts Golden Hills urban project after decade of delays

The Golden Hills Ecological Urban Area Project in Da Nang has officially restarted after more than a decade of stagnation. The relaunch ceremony, held on October 3 in Hai Van Ward, marks a transition from resolving legal and administrative bottlenecks to actual implementation.

During the event, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc emphasized that the central government has issued various specific mechanisms and policies to resolve difficulties related to stalled projects, particularly concerning land, investment, and assets. These measures aim to prevent resource waste and balance the interests of the state, citizens, and businesses.

Da Nang's economy has shown positive momentum, with GRDP increasing by 10.31% in the first nine months of 2026. The government has encouraged the city to utilize specific policies related to free trade zones, transit-oriented development (TOD), and international financial centers to drive sustainable growth and establish the city as a key growth pole in Central Vietnam.
