Da Nang's 646 billion VND Tam Hoa road project faces delays
The Tam Hoa main road project in Da Nang, valued at approximately 646 billion VND, is facing significant delays due to unresolved land clearance issues. Although the project aims to connect National Highway 1 with Vo Chi Cong Street and route DT. 613B, construction progress has stalled.
Currently, the construction value has reached about 67% of the contract. A critical 1.2 km section remains unhanded over because of 75 pending files, 51 of which involve residential land and housing. This bottleneck has directly hindered work on key structures, such as the Truong Giang Bridge, where contractors can only recently begin foundation work on specific pillars.
With the completion deadline approaching and the rainy season nearing, officials note that meeting the original project goals is becoming increasingly difficult. The contractor estimates that the remaining work at the Truong Giang Bridge alone will require an additional 6 to 7 months to complete.
