Da Nang's South Central District Attracts High-End Real Estate Investment
Wealthy Vietnamese households are expanding rapidly, with Knight Frank reporting a 29% rise in individuals holding over $30 million in net assets from 2021‑2026 and forecasting a further 60% increase. McKinsey projects total personal financial assets to reach about $600 billion by 2027, growing at 15% annually.
Da Nang's municipal budget reflects this surge: in the first seven months of 2026, total revenue exceeded VND 58 trillion, up 83.6% year‑on‑year, while land‑related taxes jumped 469.8% to become the largest revenue source. The city’s south‑central area, especially the Hòa Xuân district, benefits from modern transport links, scenic river confluences and proximity to heritage sites such as Ngũ Hành Sơn and the historic Hội An Old Town.
Developers are targeting the affluent market, with Sun Group launching a series of luxury condominium projects—including Cora Tower, Spana Tower and S‑Light Tower—positioned as premium “limited‑edition” residences for investors seeking both lifestyle and stable rental income.
