Da-Yeh University Japanese students visit Changhua high schools

A Chinese language study group of Japanese students from Da-Yeh University’s Department of Applied Japanese recently conducted visits to high schools in the Changhua region to promote Taiwan-Japan youth exchange.

The group of 18 students visited Yuanlin Senior High School and Changhua Arts High School. At Yuanlin Senior High School, students provided campus tours in English and introduced local industries, such as bicycles, tires, and dried fruit. At Changhua Arts High School, students participated in traditional silk screening experiences led by local students using Japanese.

Professor Li Meili, Dean of the International College at Da-Yeh University, stated that the program aims to help students learn through real-world experiences by stepping outside the classroom to explore local industries, arts, and culture. The initiative aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals regarding quality education and partnerships.
