DAAD EPOS scholarships offer funded studies in Germany

The DAAD EPOS scholarship program is offering fully funded opportunities for qualified professionals from developing and newly industrialized countries, including Pakistan, to pursue postgraduate studies in Germany. Eligible applicants can apply for the MSc in Environmental Governance at the University of Freiburg, an English-taught program scheduled to begin in October 2027.

The scholarship provides a monthly stipend of €992 for master’s students, while PhD candidates may receive up to €1,400 per month. Financial benefits may also include exemptions from the €1,500 per semester study fee for non-EU students, coverage for health, accident, and personal liability insurance, travel allowances, and potential rent subsidies. In certain cases, allowances for accompanying family members are available.

To qualify, applicants must hold a recognized bachelor’s degree obtained within the last six years and possess at least two years of relevant professional experience. The application deadline for the program is October 15, 2026.
