Dabur India teams with GreenLine to decarbonise road logistics

GreenLine Mobility Solutions Ltd., an Essar venture and India's only green logistics operator of LNG‑ and electric‑powered heavy trucks, announced a partnership with FMCG leader Dabur India Ltd. to deploy LNG‑powered trucks across Dabur's long‑haul freight operations. The collaboration aims to cut emissions from Dabur's supply‑chain logistics while preserving operational efficiency and reliability.

Charles Devlin D’Costa, Vice President‑Sales at GreenLine, said the partnership strengthens momentum toward cleaner freight mobility in India. Samrat Sehgal, Global Director of Supply Chain at Dabur, highlighted that integrating lower‑emission transportation is a key component of the company's sustainability roadmap. GreenLine currently operates over 1,000 vehicles on major freight corridors and has helped customers reduce more than 27,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.

The deal reflects a growing trend among Indian companies to adopt lower‑emission freight solutions as part of broader decarbonisation strategies and to build more sustainable supply chains.
