Dachser and Hochland SE rank among Germany's 500 largest firms

The German newspaper Die Welt released its 2025 ranking of the 500 companies with the highest annual revenue in Germany. Volkswagen AG leads the list with €321.9 billion, followed by the Schwarz Group, BMW, Mercedes‑Benz and Deutsche Telekom. Among the entries are two firms from the Allgäu region. Logistics group Dachser, headquartered in Kempten, employs about 37,000 people worldwide and reported €8.3 billion in revenue, moving up four places to rank 107. Cheese producer Hochland SE, based in Heimenkirch in the Lindau district, posted €2.5 billion in revenue, climbing 29 spots to rank 313.
