Dachsteinkönig Resort announces luxury chalet expansion and FIS Ski World Cup hosting

The Dachsteinkönig – Familux Resort in the Salzkammergut region is preparing for seasonal transitions and significant expansions. Following an Oktoberfest celebration held from September 2 to 10, 2026, the resort will undergo renovations to add eleven new two-story luxury chalets.

Scheduled for reopening on December 16, 2026, these chalets will feature private pools, saunas, fitness areas, and dedicated play areas for children. The winter season will also feature the premiere of the FIS Women's Ski World Cup in Gosau on December 28 and 29, 2026, with international athletes competing in giant slalom and slalom events on the Hornspitz run.
