Dacia expands bi-fuel LPG engine range across all models
Dacia distinguishes itself as the only automaker offering bi-fuel (petrol-LPG) engines across its entire vehicle range, excluding purely electric models. Since 2010, the brand has sold over 1 million bi-fuel vehicles globally and maintains a dominant position in the European LPG market with a share exceeding 67%.
Approximately 40% of Dacia customers currently opt for bi-fuel technology, which offers fuel costs up to 60% lower than petrol. The LPG systems are integrated directly into the production line for all Renault Group models and are covered by the standard 5-year factory warranty.
Key models driving this success include the Sandero, Sandero Stepway, and Jogger. The Sandero has been Europe’s top-selling retail car since 2017. New Eco-G 120 versions of the Sandero, Sandero Stepway, and Jogger are now available, featuring a more powerful 1.2-liter 3-cylinder turbo bi-fuel engine producing 120 hp, paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
