Dacia releases pricing for second-generation Spring EV in Europe
Dacia has announced pricing for the second-generation Dacia Spring across Western European markets. In Germany, the entry-level Spring Expression will start at 17,900 euros, while in France, the price remains below the 18,000-euro threshold.
The new model is produced in Slovenia alongside the Renault Twingo and utilizes the RG-EV Small platform. It features an 80-horsepower electric motor and a 27.5kWh battery, providing a WLTP range of up to 250 kilometers.
While the Spring is positioned as a highly affordable electric option, it features fewer standard specifications than its sibling, the Renault Twingo. The Twingo includes 50kW DC fast charging, 11kW AC charging, and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capabilities as standard. To access similar charging and V2L features, Dacia customers must purchase a 500-euro optional package.
