Dacia celebrates one million Sandero sales in France and launches new hybrid
Dacia has reached a significant milestone in the French market, celebrating the delivery of its one-millionth Sandero since its introduction in 2008. The model has maintained strong sales performance, ranking as a top seller in Europe for several years.
To further its electrification strategy, Dacia has opened orders for the new Sandero Streetway Full Hybrid 155. This model features a 1.8-liter four-cylinder petrol engine paired with two electric motors and a 1.4 kWh battery, producing a total of 155 CV. The vehicle is designed to be one of the most accessible full hybrids in the B-segment, with prices starting at approximately 19,900 euros in markets like Italy and Spain.
The hybrid system aims for high efficiency, allowing for up to 80% electric driving in urban environments and claiming fuel consumption as low as 4.2 liters per 100 km. This launch is part of the brand's broader effort to provide pragmatic, value-for-money electrified technology without requiring manual charging.
