Dacia unveils second-generation Spring electric city car

Dacia has introduced the second generation of its Spring electric city car, featuring a completely new platform and an 80 CV motor. The vehicle offers a range of up to 250 kilometers on a single charge.

Production for the new model is shifting from China to the Renault Group plant in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. In the Italian market, the car will be positioned with prices starting at 17,900 euros for the Expression trim and 19,500 euros for the higher-spec Journey trim, keeping both configurations below the 20,000 euro threshold before incentives.

The Expression trim includes 15-inch wheels, manual air conditioning, and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The Journey trim adds 16-inch wheels, keyless entry, a rearview camera, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Media Nav Live, featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
