Dackarna defeat Västervik in first SM-final speedway match

Dackarna secured a 47–43 victory over Västervik in the first match of the Swedish Speedway Championship (SM) final at Skrotfrag Arena. Despite the win, the narrow margin leaves the series open heading into the return match in Västervik next week.

Patryk Dudek contributed significantly to the home team, scoring 12 of a possible 15 points. Other notable performances included Max Fricke, who stepped in on short notice, and Avon Van Dyck, who delivered a nearly flawless performance. However, the match was marked by challenges, including two consecutive starts by Tomas H. Jonasson that resulted in stops, and an injury to Robert Lambert.

Västervik remains in contention for the gold, with the final series set to be decided over 30 heats.
